Account deletion

This page explains how to delete your App Reining account, which data is removed, and which records we must retain by law.

1. How to delete your account from the app

You can delete your account directly from the App Reining mobile app:

1. Open App Reining and sign in.
2. Open the side menu and tap "Profile".
3. Tap your avatar and choose "Edit profile".
4. Scroll to the bottom and tap "Delete account".
5. Confirm in the dialog. Your account is deleted immediately.

This action cannot be undone — you will no longer be able to sign in with this account.

2. Data that is removed

Once the deletion is confirmed, we permanently remove:

• Your name, email and phone number
• Your profile picture
• Your device tokens (push notifications stop being delivered)
• Your language and notification preferences

3. Data that is retained

Some records must be kept either by legal obligation or to preserve the integrity of competitions that already took place:

• History of paid entries and results of events you competed in — required for rankings and the public history of the associations
• Financial records (invoices, receipts) kept for the period required by tax legislation

These records are anonymized after deletion — your name is replaced by an internal identifier.
